From mid-June through mid-August, the Summer Camp at Greene Towne Montessori School offers many exciting opportunities for hands-on exploring and fun, both in and outside of school. Activities are designed with the interests and abilities of 3 to 5-year-old children in mind. The same daily schedules offered during the school year are available for camp: 8:00 am to 11:45 am or 8:00 am to 2:45 pm, five days a week.
A summer Toddler Program is available to children enrolled in the school year toddler program.
Children begin their camp day with free play, indoors and on our roof deck. The morning continues with art and crafts projects, cooking activities, and caring for the rooftop container garden. There are opportunities to explore, create, perform, and have a great time, including plenty of time to splash in the wading pool and run under the sprinklers on the roof deck.
Weekly themes are enriched with art and crafts activities, stories and music. Each week campers enjoy a visit by a scientist, an animal expert or a storyteller.
