EARTH – ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION on Thursday, April 26
Volunteers are needed to help the children with planting activities. To volunteer, contact Erika: egoldberg@greenetowneschool.org
PLEASE SEND IN YOUR PLASTIC DELI CONTAINERS!
Our Arbor/Earth Day activities always focus on environmental components. Pleasesend in pint-sized and quart-sized deli containers with lids for our Earth Day projects. We like to re-use everyday objects to model responsible stewardship of our home, Earth. It doesn’t matter if they are clear, opaque, or solid colored…the important thing is the size, that they have a matching lid, and that they are beingre-used! These are the containers that often come with take-out food. Kindergarteners are making mini worm habitats and younger Primary children will make windowsill lettuce gardens to bring home. Thanks!
No afternoon classes or childcare this day.
This week, try some different activities with your family - turn off the tv, computer, and phone!
